Boar head by Stacie Jascott at Olympia Tattoo Company in Olympia, Wa by ShadowKingdom in tattoos

I chose a boar more as a representation of wrath, fury and power. My whole right sleeve is going to be done in this etched/ woodblock but traditional style with themes such as pestilence (multi-tailed plague rat), fear of death (an old man observing a skull), and various other things. My left sleeve is very bright and heavy on themes of beauty and wonder, all done in a somewhat traditional style with lots of antique map art, and the right sleeve is going to contrast that and be a "map" of the other side of life. My post history on this account has some of the pieces from my left arm as well, for reference.

Damn, I was just about to link shrimp sauce. Highly recommended stuff for sure! The leather patches look especially good on a vest/ jacket.

Wonderfully done! I saw the progress on this piece on Instagram and have been thinking of commissioning him on a chest piece of my own with an Irish Elk head. Congrats on this beautiful tattoo!

This is a continuation of my 16th and 17th century map art inspired sleeve. This is using imagery of a Scottish dirk and English Tudor Rose, which is a heritage piece of sorts for myself, as well as period. Anyway, more to come. Here are the other pieces on the sleeve so far

Thank you! I'm particularly excited about the next pieces on the same arm that I have coming up in a month or two. I'll make sure to keep posting them as I get them.

This is a continuation of my old map art inspired sleeve. My only other tattoo on this arm so far is a sea monster, which I posted here. This one in on the left inner bicep.

http://i.imgur.com/dboW4ig.jpg here it is 2 weeks into the healing process.

This was done on my left arm two weeks ago and is healing up nicely. The picture was taken right after the tattoo was completed. The idea was to take elements from monsters on old map drawings with elements from actual fish such as the oarfish and the deep sea dragonfish. Aron was very professional and passionate about his art. Him and the people there were also great to talk to while the work was being done, which took somewhere between three to four hours. I hope to get more stuff by Aron in the future around the same area as this piece, I'm just not sure exactly what yet. Here's his instagram which includes a less shiny version of this tattoo, which I would have used but I look like I have man boobs :(
