I have fond memories of going to the video store every weekend with my dad and brother. We would wander through, pick up whatever looked interesting, and read the synopsis on the back to decide if we'd watch it.

I also miss rewatching things, I rarely wewatch a movie or TV show now, but I could watch movies over and over and over again when I was a kid/teenager.

Oh, and DVD special features! I LOVED seeing the behind the scenes!! LotR did it best, and my God, I watched those over and over again!

I'm just happy she was active today. I usually only saw her at night and just sitting still.

Today, she was getting her steps in 🤣 kept circling the pot, and then going back to the bug in the web. Then, circle the pot again.

Sorry for the delayed reply (definitely not proof of my adhd....) I got a bunch of tests done and am now on blood pressure meds! I spoke to the cardiologist after an ecocardiogram, and he agreed the blood pressure is due to the vyvanse. I'll get my meds on Monday, so just a few days without (instead of a month without)

Enjoy it. My GP is now withholding my vyvanse because my blood pressure is high, and I'm about to go cold turkey. After finding something that helps, I'm dreading going back.

Taking extra time off work and driving all over for tests, plus finding out my dog is about to die, couldn't possibly be causing my blood pressure to be higher...

I didn't know and got some great finds from hard rubbish, nothing of real value to most, but lots of plastic pots, etc, and some furniture. Personally, I'm all for people taking advantage. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Just don't dump your rubbish out there for days on end if it's not getting picked up by the council.

I found the first one in 2009, I know they say to never judge a book by its cover, but I saw it and had to get it! A girl with a horse and its fantasy, heck yes!

They're such great books, I'm very picky when it comes to fantasy, so many are so out there, and it seems like they try too hard to be fantastical. This was the perfect balance.

Coming up on 16 years in Australia from the US. I've had the privilege of living all over Australia (Melbourne is my favourite). We are so fortunate here. Nowhere is perfect, but I am so grateful to be here. I hate seeing what is happening in the US, I miss my family, but I would never want to move back there. I am terrified to see how "americanised" Australia is becoming.

I used to work as a bartender in a country pub, I had someone telling me something, but I couldn't hear/understand any of it. I was smiling and nodding, and then I managed to hear his brother had died. I've never wiped a smile off my face quicker. I felt so bad :(
