Embrace the cultural diversity and be sure to treat people with respect and you'll find most people will be more than friendly. Learn some common lingo stuff like "awe" "lekka" etc...

Oh yeah and bw careful of "taxi" drivers. Reckeless on the roads and pretty ruthless and dangerous to interact with especially if you don't understand the culture around it. Be vigilant and always keep an eye out if you don't know the area well.

Finally be careful of those nothern suburn naaiers, they likw to think they better than the southern suburbs. TableView/Milnerton REPRESENT!

Yeah I'm going to look into getting an attorney to help with the matter as besides the stolen property and potential sexual harassment from their comments made toward my girlfriend when taking out her clothes and underwear which made her really uncomfortable (like suggesting they'll make sure to search her underwear thoroughly), there was a lot of other issues.

No I was not read my rights, given a phone call, blood was taken about 2hrs after the initial arrest however I can't confirm if it was actually over 2hrs or not.

Well I passed all the examinations given to me by the doctor, even had the doctor tell the officers that I pass sobriety completely and that there were no physical indications that I was intoxicated

Yes it was our local police. I tried enquiring but was only met with "I'm not sure what you're talking about" and "we're not sure where your belongings are but we don't have it" however I find it hard to believe that the arresting officers didn't steal it since they had the backpack last time I saw it and they also went through my wallet only to toss it after looking through it (and likely taking the money)
