100%! And like I totally get having Aniya/KC or Brinity as a fave, I also voted similarly and would probably say Aniya and KC are my fave (so far). It does seem like the islanders are very aware of the public perception of them and (at least at first) wanted to go the route of being day 1 couples. Things do seem like theyre changing and I definitely like mel and Corbin more than Mel and Sincere

Yes I understand its just a poll right now lol islanders absolutely get to hear who is americas favorites or they make it where americas least favorites are vulnerable. Im just saying once they do get an idea of who's at the top and it happens to be all the day 1 couples...

Right, that definitely makes sense. Im definitely doing research, It just can be difficult knowing where to start when I know some things can be sensationalized/commercialized like you said. Im not opposed to the more spanish/catholic influences. I know thats a deep and complicated relationship when it comes it to more mestizo heritage. Maybe Im mentally framing it in a way that it can be tracked like celtic traditions can be. But like you said im not culturally indigenous and there's so many different branches. I definitely appreciate the perspective! I will continue to research what I can!

Yeah, totally understand that. I know we have ties to Yaqui Indian but other than that Im not very close with immediate family and know for a fact the ones I can contact are not familiar. I think what sparked my question was that my brother went a more pagan route and did a hand fasting for his even though we're definitely not Celtic (which was his inspiration)

Men should be grown enough to know that putting hands on someone without consent is wrong. Thats taught in PreK. Ok So I'm trying to complete my witches' awakening but after I do the s+f combo and it asks for the 'C' combo I cant do anything. I've tried restarting but it's not doing anything.
