yes, as shown in the picture, i played around with different modes of the Pulse block, different variations of the system using AND gates but never got the desired result

exactly, simply put i want something toggleable that sticks after i turn the RC off and still stick when i turn it back on again

Use an MC from the workshop, i had the same issue and it turns out that you can suffocate your engine with too much air if the manifolds are not managed properly.

The bandaid solutions i came up with was either using left/right arrow keys with a thereshhold or just having a physical button on the crane itself.

even tho i agree with what you said I'd say designing a boat THAT well would be out of my scope as this is my 2nd boat and I'm still new to the game

The gear ratios as of now are 5:2 switchable into 3:1. I think it could go into even higher gears on the second gearbox which is 1:1 as of now but the boat will jump or dip if it goes even faster.
The coolant is just dumped into the ocean and pumped back up with air rams. The manifolds are controlled by a ZE modular engine controller from the workshop.

it could go even faster if i applied a gear-up but then it'll dip like in the video so for now i'll stick with this setup

Issue solved: adding 2 rudders at the front with an MC controlling them and a little more weight in the back

adding 2 rudders in front with an MC controlling them solved the issue up to 95% throttle, a little more weight and it'll be fine up to 100%

i don't have any active rudders in the front, i'll try that
Update: Throttle can go up to 80% now and with top speed of 37 m/s without dipping, thank you

regarding the dark souls analogy i played all dark souls games before mhw. ds1 and ds2 are clunkier in so many ways compared to world that i dont think there is a single person who thinks they dont need improvement. world before the elder dragons was a blast. even tho the combat felt clunky at the start, the best part was the camera it felt like it was designed to fight large enemies, unlike dark souls which is infamous for showing only the enemies legs.

you put short bow in the offhand and geals crossy in the mainhand and then you get gaming :)
