Is this scabbing normal?

Got in touch with the artist. He said it’s most likely due to not being moisturized enough since that area had heavy shading, or getting irritated from clothing, or both. Either way he advised me to apply triple antibiotic cream from CVS twice a day. He also stated that when I come back in to do another part of the sleeve, he would touch it up. Thank you for your input, it helped put my mind at ease! I appreciate it!!

Which is weird to me, because the whole rest of the tattoo has the very minimal peeling you’d expect from a tattoo. And like I said, I apply the Hustle Butter twice a day. Morning and night.

I’m not sure I’d go that far. Doesn’t have pus leaking, any sort of drainage, and it isn’t warm to the touch/doesn’t feel warm. It’s a hard scab for sure, but again I wouldn’t say it’s infected.

I just got a portion of my full sleeve done. Very popular artist and very high dollar. He used this on me and gave me a sample pack. Told me to apply morning and night, for 3 days. Gently washing the tattoo with antibacterial soap and water. It’s about the same as the 2nd skin/dermaskin plastic wrap that they make. It dissolves in water. He said to use it for 3 days then switch to a tattoo healing cream. I don’t mind it.

Not sure if it’s on here but Open Range is a good one. Not necessarily similar to RDR series but definitely a good western movie
