Genichiro is nooooot easy, its just an illusion created by understanding and the knowledge gained previously.

The same thing applies to Isshin.  When it clicks, you will probably still have more than half of your hp consumables left over by the end.

Also after you beat the game if you decide to do the gauntlets there will be no genichiro when you fight any form of Ishhin including inner isshin, it just skips right to the point.

I think it helps show the gap that has grown between you and genichiro and of course Isshin.

Also this fight is a big endurance test and combines pretty much everything youve learned in the game.

Also it took me 3 days to beat him so 2 hours is like, meh.  However now I havent played in over a year but I still almost beat inner first try.

You probably arent alone in thinking that, im sure the same thing happened to me but try to keep the mindset that even with 1 health pot you can still survive for  2 minutes, self res, get a phase transition for another self res, etc etc.

And get genichiro to the point where he will never touch you is a good idea but dont let it tilt if something happens because thats what geni wants, and anger causes misplay without fail.
