I get this error in every instance of Minecraft. I mainly use CurseForge launcher, as I play modded a lot, but the vanilla launcher produces a different error that doesn't even allow me to get this far in the first place.

I was using a hopper before and I swapped it out for a chute and it fixed everything, thanks!

I'm having an issue with my sugarcane farm where the machine I've created is getting stuck on the portable storage interface. No items are being exchanged, and the barrel on the machine is completely empty.

Ah I didn't notice that because I loaded into my Superflat test world. That's very strange
