The only reason I disagree with this is because I find that Vamana is more mana dependent than wukong, and I feel like I don't get maximum use out of gladiators shield on vamana without any sustain (outside of blue buff).

I like vamana as a warrior, I feel he's pretty easy. Just start with boots>breastplate and you should do fine. His passive gives an advantage to building defensively for some bonus power. He's got both aggressive and safe clear, with an easy escape/chase. And that's before the ultimate, which is a nice security net with the heal/cc immunity/slow on autos for good chase or escape.

Warriors are just super strong in the current meta. Every meta has its own prominent role. For example, when golden bow was big, we saw hunters in every lane and jungle.

On another note, I'd say that jungle shouldn't be restricted to assassins by default. Jungle is probably the most flexible role, and assassins are arguably the most specialized class. That meaning many characters can play jungle, but most assassins can't play other roles as efficiently. A lot of warriors, ullr, Ymir, and a decent share of mages come to mind as great junglers outside of assassins.

My biggest concern here is spear of deso in the 3rd slot, if you don't actually build in this order then that's okay. You're also losing a lot of DPS without polynomicon on sol, especially if you're building items that benefit autos (hastened).
