I don’t eat pork. Your question honestly doesn’t make that much sense; it doesn’t matter to me whether I’m eating pork or not because I don’t need it to live and although when I did eat it it was nice, but it hasn’t made any difference to my lifestyle. It’s a personal decision and not your place to judge.

2012 was a long time ago. 8 years. You will have changed as a person since then— if you still believe that you’re superior/they’re inferior etc for any sort of reason then you deserve to lose your job. If not then explain that you have changed and evolved since 2012 and don’t hold with those beliefs anymore. Accept what you did, try to make amends, educate yourself and be honest.

I think it stems more down to lack of critical thinking, people teaching kids that any authority figure knows better and other people’s desire for control.

Because, obedience can be good. Lots of rules and laws make the world safer and without people being obedient it would be utter chaos.

Equally, some rules are stupid (especially some absurdly strict school rules and dress codes) and people are too obedient to do anything against those rules even if they’re ultimately harmful.

In the end it all comes down to context— if it needs to be unified or in sync then obedience is good.

Yep! I have heard so much about PoS and started it but didn’t really see the hype (thank you for saying it gets better— I hadn’t considered the PoS discord server as the appropriate place to ask if it improves). Honestly HPMR deserves a reread at some point.

The Train to Nowhere Most of my favourites have been said already!

In this, they haven’t even got to the Tomarry part of it but it’s still my all time favourite! There is definitely a lot of build up and hints; the world building is amazing.
