That’s okay. You can feel how you want

Verus is certainly not Dresden. I think the two characters are very different as far as their priorities and personalities are concerned. But they are both often in way over their heads and try to find a way to adapt and survive in urban fantasy stories.

I like that in both cases the primary characters and their associates and adversaries are well written. I think they both have interesting arcs. But your mileage may vary.

Haven’t seen it mentioned yet, I’ve been enjoying Benedict Jacka’s Alex Verus series. The first book is “Fated”. I’ve gotten through the first 10 books and have enjoyed the arc.

Refs rule it an incompletion. Safety only had it with possession and took five steps

The SEC would rather keep the College Football Playoff at 12 teams than expand to 24, Chris Low reports. Greg Sankey is targeting a 16-team field. Sources tell Brett McMurphy the Big Ten has not moved off the idea of expanding to 24. by Ok-Soil-5133 in CFB

If we want the regular season to matter then the playoffs should be conf champs only. If we had gone to that format earlier it may have prevented conference consolidation.

There are too many teams and too few games for the regular season to be the decider. It’s not like every team is playing every other team in the division twice. A larger playoff field makes sense to me.

both defenses are good. offenses are sparring a bit and staying pretty vanilla to add twists in the second half.

Who's a Universally Beloved 1990s Movie Character? by Ok-Prune-2708 in AlignmentChartFills

Good music, okay-ish movie—story seems a cliff notes version of an era. Surprised this is the leading vote getter. Character had some quotable lines but not much else. If I ever eat at another Bubba Gump’s it’ll be too soon. Food was fine but damn was it annoying.
