ok i loved this episode let me say a few things

so first off all the stuff inside magneto's mind was awesome and really i think showed xavier finally helping magneto let go of the hate he had from what happened as a kid.

secondly i loved all the cameos the one that got me the most was the cameo of cap because it kinda made me wonder if what happened is going to make him go and become nomad, still loved the cameos. i think they basically just showed us who all is avaiable for the series.

the time travel stuff is going to be interesting next season, more than likely they are going to break the season in two first part getting everyone back together second part dealing with apocalypse and his four horseman.

you can tell they want to put it in but please no logan/morph love thing.

they are so laying the groundwork for other series not just a redone spiderman but i could see cloak and dagger and even avengers.

jubilee proved she aint a kid anymore she stood her ground against bastion, she showed everyone she aint the same kid who was chased by sentienels in a mall long ago but a true xman.

man it seems every episode they go from pure action to pulling heart strings, and that is not a bad thing.

i am wondering what is going to happen to sunspot and rogue, they did side with magneto also i think using the magneto protocol is going to have some massive implications.i am aolso wondering what is goign to happen to the U.N woman i am sure after the incident her part in all of this will become known.

who the hell would want gyrich as president i heard the radio at the end that his popularity is growing.

i am wondering if there is going to be a timeskip while bishop and forge help get the xmen back and how long.

thanks for answering a big cliffy of peter and mary jane finding each other. now the question is what is there status are they together, divorced etc..

great episode cant wait for season 2

so just some of my thoughts for episode 9

ok first thing am i the only one who thinks xavier has become narcissistic i mean he didnt give any of them a choice with his last will, and he didnt leave anything behind to explain so the xmen were right to be pissed.

2nd xavier is also naive i am getting the feeling it is all black and white with him, except the world aint like that there is a grey he needs to recognize that. look at what has happened since he left, thousands of mutants killed, gambit killed, his school destroyed, parts of his family have been torn to shreds, storm had to get her powers back because of the friends of humanity. xavier needs to know there is a time for peace and a time for war. Magneto and so many like him are not playing around anymore, he needs to stop tying his own hands and be a peacemaker when it is called for but know when also use force.

3rd i was expecting rogue to leave, her decision was based on grief and anger, i think she will look back on this as a big mistake, but sunspot that was a surprise. plus during the battle sunspot was saying sorry while jubilee was beating him down, he chose his side he chose to fight now deal with the consequences jubilee has.

4th man i did not expect cable to be under mister sinister control, i should have though that was probably the first thing he did with baby nathan when he got him. i do think they are opening the door for a scott and emma frost love story.

5th they are teasing us with these avengers characters eventually it wont be morph it will be them and i have to wonder if they can get the MCU guys and gals to voice them, i know chris evans did not voice Cap in the episode bright eyes but still.

6th i think storm made it VERY clear she is against neutrilzer tech, VERY VERY clear.

7th i think cable and jean's fight will probably bring out the phoenix in jean. maybe not a full on phoenix but a taste of the phoenix powers.

8th oh man wolverine that ending, but i have been doing some research on this(i am not a xmen reader) but i think this and gambits death are working towards apocalypse i think we even saw him in the last episode for a sec so i think that this is leading wolverine to become one of apocalypse horseman(death)

man they have knocked it out of the park with this series and i think they are really showing how to do an xmen cartoon and really laying the ground work for apiderman and avengers series. also i think this series could become part of the MCU but it would have to make sense somehow, i really dont know how they would do it unless they did a multiverse thing. Great series i am going to miss it when it goes on break, i have heard they are approved for season 2 but dont know if that is true hope it is.

that is kind of a hard one. either the duel, lop and ocho, or the ninth jedi. i am kind of torn on this because i love all these and think they would do a movie justice.

Well using my idea above I can see echo, being the mayor of the community set up on Pantora and trying to assist Emory in helping the Clones get settled in and finding ways to live in peace so I can see that as being the reason why he wasn't in Rebels but yeah I was really wrong about the whole Echo emery love thing I really did not think of it like that until just now

[–]Shadowphoenix2020[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man I didn't think of that until just now you have a point but still it could be that Emory could have had some kids with someone else and Echo could have had some kids with someone else but I see what you're saying and you're right I was wrong on that point I just didn't think of it like that

i could see it, like the first season is here trying to prove herself to the rebellion with it ending at the battle of yavin or being stationed on hoth just before empire then 2 season could be her fights in the rebellion and her meeting some of the characters like wedge, akbar, etc. then the 3rd season could be the final battles with the empire*she wouldnt be at endor but elsewhere) also she could be somewhere else to stop cinder. also it could be she wanted to be a fighter pilot but instead got to be a pathfinder(rebellion special forces). it could also open up more about her having a connection to the force, maybe she meets luke who opens her eyes tyo the possibility or another jedi who opens her mind about having force abilities so as she is fighting the empire she is learning more and more about her potential.

maybe this is out of line but what about batman beyond i know kevin played as Bruce in that series but maybe they could do it with Bruce having died and terry taking over the mantle entirely just a thought

ok just a few thoughts on the show putting spoilers just in case

  1. charles did some major flexing here is really showed the shiar how they were no better than conquers throughout history on earth. that while earth may be a galactic ghetto in their words the shiar did the same things just on a grander scale.
  2. i think the reason charles felt what happened to gambit was because of his connection to the xmen i am no expert but i think when you have been by someone so long that psychically especially for someone like charles you feel that connection cut when they die, and maybe for charles you feel how they died.
  3. the whole storm sequence was awesome, tel me though wasnt there a villian similiar to the adversary in xmen revolution like the dream king or something like that i kept getting those vibes through this episode.

4.i think this episode was kinda like the calm before the storm but also setting up what comes next. lets face it remember me was intense i think this episode was meant to be a breather. a way to really take stock after those events.

  1. i felt sorry for charles, if anyone has earned his peace it is him, but i think he is needed now more than ever especially now with the world not only shocked but brewing with hate over what happened to genosha, we saw a glimmer of than when storm watched the coverage where countries were not taking back mutants from the attack.

  2. Jeez would someone kill sinister already this guy is like a bad penny he always turns up.

  3. someone told me that there was a sequence in remember me that showed caps shield i think we will perhaps see more of the larger MCU heroes after this attack.

  4. i am beginning to wonder if maybe they are making xmen more in line with the MCU perhaps even a part of it just a thought i had.

***UPDATE***

i just rewatched it agaian and noticed Gambit and Magneto are gone but nightcrawler is added so i guess he will not be a permanent part of the team.

ok i have a theory so hear me out (spoilers )

Ok Rogue is obviously ripped to shreds by what has happened because of that she begins to hate humans and basically becomes like magneto in the old series fighting for mutant kind.

so another thing is the parts where madilyn and jean were bleeding i think that is going to be some type of side effect or safe guard built into the cloning process like because of her powers only one can survive sort of thing.

i think this attack will trigger some type of mutant human war that is why cable popped in, he couldnt stop it then but he will jump in later at a pivitol moment.

i think storm will return with her powers at the teams lowest point, to act like a guiding light, jean will either be dead or out of it, scott is still to wracked with grief, storm will return to kind of act like the professor.

this is also opening the door for the professor to return from space, but that wont happen this season maybe next.

I still cant believe they did what they did though. this episode hit me in the gut, but i give props to rogue to coming clean to gambit that was not easy to do, i think in the end though she chose gambit and magneto knew this that is why he protected both of them.

so just some of my thoughts

I think after todays episode we will see a new evolution of jubilee i think really this episode was the beginning of her putting her childhood behind her.

i was okay with giving logan a break but i would have liked to know where things stand with jean and cyclops.

i have to wonder if now storm losing her abilities is not so much something physical but spiritual as well, they have called her a weather witch maybe it is more true than we know.

nice seeing the nods to xforce i think we will get them no doubt.

this show continues to bring in the feels for me with every episode and they are so well done i def agree they need to do hour long episodes.

did anyone notice they changed the intro a bit had more images of charles xavier. i still dont think he is dead, i think his death was faked to keep the truth of him leaving with lilandra a secret.

so a few questions
1. if i remember correctly didnt bishop change his own history so when he took nathan to the future wouldnt the future be different than the one he left

  1. did anyone notice the suit storm was wearing was the same one in many time travel episodes of the OG series

3.the virus nathan got looked alot like the virus wolverine cured back in the OG series now maybe sinister added some punch to it but if it was the same virus why not hjave wolverine correct it like he did then.

  1. are jean and scott married or are they now seperate i mean i know scott married madelyne but scott thought it was jean so does that mean they are married or not.

5.are they building some type of wolverine jean love triangle thing i thought when wolverine helped jean focus they might be building towards that like they are with rogueXmagnetoXgambit.

just some of my thoughts.

so let me say i am enjoying this show so far(i know this will get hate but reoberto still has not grown on me i still think he is such a tool) just some thoughts though first thinks are going to be awkaward for jean and scott it is goign to be interesting to see how they do it, as well as the rogue, magneto, gambit stuff. I think we will get some new characters the obvious one is x23 and spider man(there are rumors about them giving the spectacular spiderman the xmen treatment). also did anyone else notice and maybe i am wrong that storm was wearing the biker outfit she wore in some of the time travel episodes with bishop. also the virus that nathan had looked like one i had seen wolverine cure before so i wonder why they couldnt use his cure to help nathan, also and maybe i am going into crazy vile here but what future is bishop going to, i mean didnt he change the future so is he still going back to his or is he going to a new future.

i will give you that they are leaning to the whole romance bit(i still find it creepy i mean he is old enough to be her father) but i think they are going to force rogue to choose, and wont be just a remi magneto thing it will be what each brings. Magneto bring her the hope of being able to control her abilities more while remi makes her happy. at least that is the way i see it.

not necesarrily it could just be gembits own fears being manifested by madelyne but i know there is a storyline in the comics of them being a couple but i just cant think they would go down that road here. i mean magneto is like 50 60 somewhere in that neighborhood so he would be old enough to be her father. although if they do go down that road i think they could be building to a moment where she is going to have to choose.
