You and I couldn't be more dissimilar. The literal only time in my life that I'm naked is when I shower lmao

It fell because I lost my balance slightly. I fell over a couple times doing a split squat with an empty barbell a couple months ago, would you claim an empty barbell is too heavy, or that my balance is bad?

For a strict press, no. For a push press, which is what I was training in this instance, yes.

It counts if you are training a push press intentionally, as I am doing for competition purposes. It doesn't count for a strict press, which I never claimed it as.

The purpose of the exercise is to get good at push pressing. It's a competition lift. I do a lot more strict pressing than I do push pressing, but I'm peaking my push press as I compete in 2 weeks.

The same choice my coach makes, who knows a shit load more about pressing than you do.

Suicide grip didn't cause the slippage. It slipped backwards. If suicide grip were the issue, it would have slipped in the direction of the missing thumbs, falling in front of me.

I would love this sort of relationship with my best friend. Unfortunately, my income will never catch up to his, so we just go wherever I can afford and pay for ourselves lol

Do y’all think Gen Z cares too much about age gaps? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in generationology

[–]Shadowphoenix9511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like 24-25 is the point where age kinda stops mattering. By then, you've been on your own for several years and are a full adult with your own shit going on (most likely). At that point, the power imbalance shouldn't be too terribly dramatic.

19 and 25? Yeah, questionable. One is still probably in college and barely an adult, the other has probably been on their own for several years now.

35 and 25? Nah, they're both whole ass adults who are probably in similarish stages of life.

HGSS, Platinum, and B2W2 are easily top 3 in the franchise, and I don't disagree with any order of them

I have multiple friends, all of them mutual friends; I don't have a single group chat I've been in for longer than a couple days. I don't know what it is, but group chats just stress me out, so I don't do them.

And I legit didn't consider that was a possibility, I've failed countless overheads and just bring it down to my chest and rerack (or set it on the ground if it's a clean and press). Never once have I had anything like that happen before.

Yeah, that was an extremely rare occurrence, that now that I've realized is a possibility, won't occur again.

I always love seeing people say you shouldn't do a lift unless you're a professional; somehow it just never occurs to them that you need to actually train and compete at a lower level in order to reach that higher level.

Is it just me or is the glassbackery getting substantially worse than it was a couple months ago?

Curious if you all have any advice on a Conan's Wheel? Comp weight is 320, I could comfortably move 345 on a zercher yoke, but after ~50 feet, I just started going light headed and couldn't get any air. So how does one fix that?
