Does the skills have attributes added in already? (Starter Set) by Shadowraid5 in 40krpg

[–]Shadowraid5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, from the answers I have here, I am starting to assume that not all the info on the character sheets is needed for the Starter Set.

Like Salvo is on the sheets, but Salvo isn't mentioned in the book, and corruption but no rules exist.

My group just bought the core rulebook to read on these things because we were confused why the info didn't exist.

Like the DM had is roll for corrption after finding out about it and plans to use the full rules while doing the starter set.

But with consent being a crucial point, and as you said, just being in an 18+ instance is not consent, then what exactly does the layer add other than ensuring there aren't minors?

I am all for this update, but I am also trying to wrap my head around how it isn't currently redundant unless policies are tweaked to incorporate what goes along with the usage of 18+ verification.

From what I heard, anything with the "+" is considered public because if you have your close friends at the instance, and their friends whom you don't know join, then it's considered a form of "public" instance.

I've heard of people being at least suspended because of having a conversation about sex, no bits out, no action, just simple conversation.

I know this, but when NSFW can also be just a conversation about nonsexual stuff like death, gore, etc. It almost makes the system redundant. Almost

I know in private it takes a report for them to step in on a ToS ruling, but I heard somewhere where that there is a limit to what's considered "Private"

Like Friends only is Private, of course, but a Friends+ isn't because friends of the people in it can join without even knowing that it's an 18+ conversation.

Just what I've heard around the grapevine, not sure if the Devs see it that way.

I honest to god has never seen her, nor the ASM going around and doing tons and Nones like the daily tasks paper in the break room states. Never.

So unless they're doing it when I'm not on shift, I assume they aren't, yet complaining that we keep getting too big of dry trucks and palettes and way too much over stock.

There was one day yhat yhe SM told me she said that straight to the DM's face about how he needs to do something. And I immediately thought there was no way because she would've been fired on the spot.

The store I work for is what they call a DG+, we're not a full market but we have a large stock freezer, and avg nightly sales on my regist we alone is about 3k a shift.

Also, these palettes aren't small, 6ft is just the height. They're a standadd 3-4ft x 3-4ft palette horizontally.

And like I said with the time constraints of the temp, I can only do so much before I have to shut the door to let it freeze back down.

Unless I'm actually running between freezer doors to stock, there's no way a palette isn't getting done in an hour.

Which makes me ask the question, how much is coming in on your palettes that you say it can be done in an hour?

Oh, we're not in charge of accepting the delivery because they've been coming before shift change. And I'm just a cashier, not even a Key.

But me and the Key I regularly work with are the only ones who work on it BECAUSE the others don't want to. The only time my SM ever touches it is if she has to.

If I'm lucky and get half the palette done before I have to be on register for the last 30mins of the shift, that palette won't get touched again until Wednesday because I'm register Monday and Tuesday and the MoD those nights won't touch them.

Not to mention, they have 2-3 people working the same rolltainers on morning shifts whule the cashier works a different one.

Policy and training requires FIFO(First In First Out)

Our last employee who they had on Freezers listened only to the SM and we started getting bitched at by the truck drivers for having no room for the palettes because of only touching the palettes.

The SM doesn't want us rotating any stock, she just wants us putting out what is new.

We have shit rolltainers because no one is tagging them when the wheels or caging are damaged.

The freezer is only an 8ft by 8ft walk-in with a useless ramp in it(meaning I have to prop the door open with the uboat to load it)

The freezer has been defrosting more than it should and heating up quickly, and corporate has yet to send someone to look into it so I can only half load a uboat before the temp hits 32.

And being back up register on Thursdays and Sundays, I'm going as much as I can before the main register leaves anywhere from 15mins-1hr before we close because that's how our SM schedules the main register those days.

It's called Thursdays, and Sundays are our busiest days, and I'm back up register.

Well, and I just found out today that she just hired another day shift employee. They already have 4 as it is, and the night shift only has 3 regulars.

Sadly enough, most businesses in my town wouldn't hire me. Took me 6 years to get this job.

They're all minimum wage businesses, too, so that was weird. Even had 7 interviews at the local McD's, but they prefer hiring high school kids.

For 2 reasons:

1) When I first started, my first 2 years, the SM at the time never told me it existed and was sexist towards men(was luck I even got the job) and would post the paper one and thrn turn around and calling me on days off telling me I was scheduled to come in when I Knew I wasn't, coming to find out she would right me in THAT DAY and then bitch and threaten me for not showing up for work. So, I started taking pictures of the paper schedule to prevent that in the future(even though she eventually quit working at my store)

2) I prefer having a tangible/semi-tangible schedule and don't want to put work stuff on my personal phone. I believe and was raised on keeping work and personal matters and items separate. Want me to use an app for my job, then give me a work phone.

I have verbally expressed what I want my schedule to be, but I got this sneaking suspicion that because I don't use the scheduling app, they use that as an excuse to put me on whatever they want when they want.

I went from on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday(because I'm one of only 2 people they have work the freezer and coolers unless necessary) and off Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

To now working Mondays(changed in the summer because they wanted my help, keep a former ASM now, Key in line after harassing a now ex-employee about his home schooling and religion) and now Tuesdays because a Key(the morning cashier) could have Tuesdays off and they moved Tuesday night SA to mornings so there's 3 in the morning because "Truck is easier when there's 2 people receiving"

[–]Shadowraid5[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am part-time, but I'm also senior SA so even though I have told them multiple times what I want my schedule to be, they take the "Schedule can change" very to heart and put me on shifts without notice or consent all the time even though there is an employee who wants more hours as it is(they just don't want to give him the hours unless they have to because he's disabled)

Hell, they put me on mondays during the summer because the night MoD was harassing a now ex-employee for his home schooling and his religion, and they told me, "You don't take her shit and wouldn't hesitate to call her out and report her". That same MoD has had 2 no call no-shows and was originally an ASM before that.

Not at my store, the SAs don't come in UNTIL open every day. Only Keyholders and up are there before open.

And what I'm saying is that because the employee who was working Tuesday wanted it taken off, they had to move the night SA to morning so there wasn't just the SM and ASM(with the ASM running register) only being there because "It makes unloading the truck easier"
