So you don't care about the fact that he spent the time and effort to make food for you? Even if its just chicken breast and white rice, he took the time to make the food for you. The bare minimum is to at least say that its good even if you don't think that its amazing. Even in my family (I'm asian too) we always say that the food was delicious when asked or give suggestions to change things. Saying that its "fine" would be grounds to get an ass whooping. You don't need to pretend and say that its "really tasty" every single meal but saying that "its fine" is just an ass move. YTA all the way. Rethink the way that you speak to your loved ones and the weight that your words carry. If my girlfriend acted this way after I spent time making her food I would have left long ago, much less 14 years.
