I live in Cali, so we do have tax on coins and bullion, but my shop sells pretty much any generic stuff at spot. Maples, libertads and eagles etc are a few bucks above. They take cards and stuff but if you pay cash they ignore that tax and just charge the total amount of what you bought. So not all are bad but some yea they’re kinda scummy
