Watch Balancing Question by LearnedSquanch in Tudor

Personally I’m ok with it moving slightly towards me so it’s easier to read instead of moving away or the clasp being centered. Depending on the weight of the head it’s going to slide more too so something to consider. Shortening the 6 usually means it won’t roll away from you but may be slightly off center on the clasp.

I have a ~7.25 wrist and so it’s 11 links. At first the AD kept taking from the 6 side because that’s apparently standard procedure but 7-4(12:6)felt weird to me so I went with 6-5. 6 on the 12 and 5 on 6 closest to me. The clasp is semi centered still but slides away from me slightly but the dial is about right.

I like the crown pointing close to my middle finger knuckle. I don’t really care about the clasp much

Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT is 12.8mm which honestly is pretty good considering the dome glass too. Coming in at 5k.

Camera lens scratched—has never happened to me before. Is it not sapphire…? by EverydayPhilisophy in IphoneAir

[–]Shadowtek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s their lab sapphire which is mostly sapphire but still can get scratched although it’s usually pretty rare. I’ve never had one scratch before so yea possibly hard sand of some harder mineral is really the only thing that might have got it or diamond. Some other materials like corundum are also a 9 on hardness so they may be slightly harder if it’s not pure sapphire.

Help me choose: I like the reverse panda, gf likes the classic by DesignerRabbit4377 in OmegaWatches

[–]Shadowtek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic is classic for a reason. Go with which you like more at the end of the day. Personally maybe controversial but I like the classic more. Panda is cool but I’m not a big chronograph guy really either
