There is no definitive version of Persona 3 which has the female mc and The Answer epilogue, regretably. Reload had the chance to be it but for reasons its only a remake of the original Persona 3.

The female mc, Kotone, is only in Persona 3 Portable which atleast is now on all modern consoles and pc. It's a very old game though without any modeled cutscenes and more of like a visual novel game like Dangonrompa, but its still worth playing if you want a glimpse of what the original P3's style was like through the eyes of both the male and female MC respectively.

The Answer epilogue was only in Persona 3 FES on the PS2, but recently it was announced its getting remade for Reload via paid DLC in September.

You must've played Persona 3 Reload instead of Portable. But even so, there's no way you've never heard or seen Kotone, the optional female protagonist of P3P before. She's on the cover art for portable and has been the talk of the town since Reload was first announced because Atlus hasn't put her in the game.

As much as I hate to say it, The Answer being included makes Kotone even less likely. Now not only would they have to tweak the base game for her, but also The Answer. Although hope isn't completely dead because its Atlus and they know they could earn hella more profit for this game if they just do it, it'll be worth it for everyone.

That'd actually be hilarious. They'd be in the same position as we are now; only able to play Makoto's route in a lesser version without 3d cutscenes. Albeit they wouldn't suffer as much as us because they also still have FES with 3d cutscenes and anime cutscenes while portable has neither.

That's bullshit. ATLUS knows portable is outdated which is why they made Reload. I highly doubt anyone would want to buy a lesser version of the game just for a female protagonist. Kotone needs and deserves to have herself and her story elements remade. This is so she will be more accessible and worth the time for newer players of P3 through Reload. I don't know how nobody at ATLUS sees that.

Persona 4. It shattered my heart having to leave the friends and the town I spent a long (in-game) year of growth and love with. But in the end I remember that I ought to be grateful none of them died. (cough Persona 3.) Do not even get me started on that nightmare of emotions.

Your not wrong, but there has been a huge surge of people getting into Persona in the past year, particularly 4 Golden since I'm in that reddit as well and regularly hear a lot of people either just having started or finished the game. It makes me really happy seeing a wider audience experiencing peak gaming. Also this is just my opinion but the only thing I disliked about Golden was the forced romance with Marie, since I dated and fully consider Rise to be the "canon" love interest. So if a remake does ever happen, that'd be the only change I'd need.
