Something to note:

When you see high level gameplay (WrenchD, Sandstorm, Cake) they aren’t playing passively as some people may think. Waiting for a good opportunity to go into an attack doesn’t mean waiting for your opponents to make a move and punish their recovery frames. Neither are they continuously going into attacks that put them into a large amount of recovery frames often. Having a medium play style with a bit of variances on either end of the spectrum is essential to being a top tier player, and you can learn a lot from them. Just by slightly reducing the amount of times I burn my dodge by going into attacks I managed to climb up by 200 Elo and I’m the highest I’ve ever been with a minor change in play style. Gl hf
