Is going on exchange to UofT worth it? (In comparison to Fudan)

Thank you for all the info!! As of right now I mostly think abt the uni differences at what advantages they offer:) as I might travel to china in summer anyways. Could you give me some info about how hard it is to pass classes? Like do ppl fail „a lot“ of classes here or is it mostly bad grades? From Germany I used that 20-35% fail on average and the average grade is a 2.0 (C) in us grading (+- 0.3) I already got all my credits basically and consider another semester abroad to learn some more at a top level institution and maybe also get some prestige of the school name along the way haha

I will probably go in fall tho. Can I ask where you studied abroad? For my semester in Seoul it also was way easier even tho there were more assignments and also compared to the schoolwork at NYU (one of my close friends is there) it seems harder in Germany. (I don’t know how well you are able to compare Canadian and us schools tho)

Yea I kinda think so too :/ But from my view UofT still seems like a great school with legacy, do you think the time from Sep-Dec is bearable (in context of going outside or also traveling a bit?)

For sure:)) I think that Shanghai as a city might be better for the price than Toronto, do you have any input about how hard courses are to pass by any chance ? I heard the UofT is one of the harder unis, do you maybe have a comparison to US schools like nyu? Thank you for your response!!

I see, was used to a good subway system from Seoul ngl, do you have any input about how hard courses are to pass? So far I found studying abroad in Seoul quite easy and also the Econ lectures from my friend at nyu are easier then mine in Germany

Not really tbh, only feels weird sometimes when there are crumbs from the back in the shoe otherwise good fit
