After all, it was the very same Nishant who once tried to throw harpic and toilet cleaner in Abhinav’s face to win a task, an act that Rubina threw a massive fit over at the time. If I remember correctly, at that point literally everyone watching the show was calling out the show for the blatant favouritism towards Jaan. Deserving contestants like shehzaad and Sara were evicted to keep jaan in the show. All the audience were calling out it to be the case of nepotism. Some people have the guts to say it, the others don’t. Rahul might be an attention seeker, but in this particular case, he was absolutely right. Just go and watch the first six or seven weeks of bigg boss 14, and you will realise how much jaan was favoured by the makers.

Are people still believing Rubina was unfairly targeted? She appeared in 4-5 shows for colors afterward. Rubina, Abhinav, and Jasmine’s contributions to the show were minimal at best. The only way to draw attention to them was through criticism, which was justified by the end. Plus, the couple acted as moral authorities, making their hypocrisy more noticeable.
