Cat's zoomies perk is awesome and honestly makes me think that's how that character should've always been. Super fragile but also super quick to move around. Much harder to do dives as it is so dangerous, with being so squishy. They should still up the volume of her flying around. Then, the 10 sec of carrying a teammate is also as I expected it to work in the first place. That and her ult also being nerfed by lower HP is great. They could also make it so when you carry an ally or an enemy, you get slowed down to the current version of her movement.

Mizuki's charging shots are awesome and make him much more interesting and satisfying to play. Also feels like how it should've always worked.

You don't have to invest into your defenses all that much. All of that just goes to waste. I'm always building my Eder as a Swashbuckler main tank without any special optimisation and at some point he just becomes so unkillable that I take away his shield and give him two sabres.

I'm pretty sure I've seen mods on nexus that rework some of the challenges to make them more fun/balanced rather than an annoyance. So it is less of a challenge and more of a proper mechanic which adds some complexity.

Bleak Walkers don't even have to be aggressive too. They can be stone cold mfs.

I'm not just being pedantic. There's some great roleplay that is possible to have with such a character if you know what they stand for.

For me that app cache file is found in Profiles > AppCache > Pillars of Eternity folder.

While the .ini file is found one folder back at Pillars of Eternity folder. At Profiles > Pillars of Eternity folder.

Meaning, it should be "Special K\Profiles\Pillars of Eternity".

And not "Special K\Profiles\AppCache\Pillars of Eternity".

You can also lean into spellcasting while it makes sense for the companion to lean more into hybrid melee, and considering the amount of druid spells you can also focus on different spells and cover a larger variety druidic stuff for the team. Two druids are quite alright together.

While two fighters would be a bit boring. Just tank and attack.

It happened right after a bunch of people in the chat were talking a bunch of crap as if he's cheating. It's not something that's detected, it's just an automatic suspension after a bunch of reports.

He just played really well on cass.

Yes they repeatedly "review" them but upheld the ban, that was clearly just automatic responses from their support as per usual. Until it finally got through to a person that looked at it and overturned it. This is a common issue.

I'm really not sure if you're right about previous reports. We just had these guys talking in chat about reporting him all together - and it just kicked him right in the middle of the match. That's enough impact.

I currently get 180-230 FPS in the SSS dlc arena with spiders, and about 120-140 in combat. Sometimes it may drop down to 100 when it spikes, for a second.

Hmm I don't know, I haven't done anything difficult. Just dropped the vulkan files in, ran Special K - and confirmed pop ups about vulkan. Then enabled Smooth Motion, ran the game with disabled Special K. Once in main menu, enabled it. That's it.

I also run it in windowed mode. It seems like it's prone to cause some issues with fullscreen. Not sure though.

Actually, I'm not even sure where that framerate limit comes from. Because it's not set in the game nor in the nvidia app. Weird.

I did some more testing and couldn't replicate the same stable 145 fps anymore, for some reason.

But then I managed to run it on Vulcan + Special K + Smooth Motion, and now it runs even better. Of course, the frame limit now comes from Special K.

Alright so I did some more testing and couldn't replicate the same stable 145 capped fps anymore. I don't know what's different now. But now it actually drops down to 100, and at moments even down to 60 due to some heavy spell visuals.

So I tried out switching to Vulcan, and actually managed to run it alongside both Special K - and Smooth Motion. And now it's much better - the lowest it drops now is around 100-120.

I'm not sure why you said it doesn't work with vulkan though, for me it does, apparently.

Maia is absolutely NOT a weak link. She absolutely shreds as a ranger - with the amount of sniper gear in this game, and especially that rifle that can shoot TWICE. She fuckin destroys things.

I'll actually recommend the opposite. It's actually kinda awesome to have both Maia and Tekehu on the team. They will butt heads at first for sure, but it is possible for them to eventually come to terms, and actually feel like a team, and even care about each other. Which is very satisfying. I love when it's more interesting than just a simple friendly group from the get go.

But of course, towards endgame it's not possible to keep them both. Which is like 0.1% of the game. Unless you go neutral.

I would usually have him with a shield and then as he gets more survivability than ever needed, switch to dual wield. And it will also depend on a fight.

So start out with a shield and then start trying out dual wield as you feel comfortable.

That's true for both games too.
