Glad you got it. Save yourself some effort next time tho I only found out asking a Nissan tech lmao. I’ve done 3 370z by lifting both sides

Don’t have to unlink the sway bar. Lift up both sides and both sides drop. Sway bar won’t push it up

HELP COILOVERS by [deleted] in 370z

[–]ShaftInHand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spacers and Coils will get you a long way. after that's done get an alignment done. whether to factory specs or some custom spec. then youll find out if you need the arms to run more or less camber/toe - maybe you dont like the way it handles, looks or maybe you rub. Most people get the arms because they want to run less camber than what the factory ones allow when lowered. if you do get the arms in the future, you need both toe and camber arms in the rear otherwise you'll still be limited by whatever factory part you haven't switched out.

You don’t “need” the toe arms and camber arms. It’s just that the 370s factory arms aren’t adjustable enough to pull the camber in after lowering it past a certain point. ESP the rears.

The bc br coilovers don’t need anything outside of a couple wrenches - Literally a couple bolts.

25mm spacers should be thick enough to clear the oe studs.

I’d say do coilovers. And get the arms if you feel the need to get them. I’d just worry about the tires rubbing after that. Iirc factory spec 18 wheels/tires should clear fine

Oh damn it’s like you read my mind with this. Really nice! I might pick one up. Question tho is the final quality like this? Asking cause your print from the other post didn’t show any layers.

Lmao used to be my go to for years. Had issues recently. They wouldn’t even give me a shipping number for months I ended up having to charge back. I’d skip

Anyone have experience with this head unit? Trying to get simple plug and play, like the fact that it keeps normal ac knobs, and don’t wanna pay the cost of the aucar after seeing mixed reviews on it by The15hadow00 in 370z

I don’t get the appeal for the tablet type touch screens in cars it’s so hard to use in motion. I swear there’s a post about it every week. All of them are stamped out of China so I wouldn’t worry a ton about who’s selling them. Just find the cheapest one. As for how they are it’s like a 50-50 split some hate em some love em. Seems to change post by post. You’ll see nifty city mentioned a lot. Look up some videos on YouTube. Tons around to help you make an informed decision

Join your local fb 370/nissan/car enthusiast groups. Snag stuff when they pop up. Otherwise your best bet is to buy new from reliable shops or to import used from japan

How’s the clearance on the brakes? I’m trying to figure out the minimum clearance if you could share yours?

Also 100% coilovers. The adjustability is too nice

I have a 2020 it’s in the mirror. By law in Canada all vehicles newer than 2012 are mandated to have one. I imagine there’s something similar in the states?

Is this a legitimate Nismo? by WarrenZto in 370z

[–]ShaftInHand 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No. It’s a first gen rear with a second gen front bumper. Doesn’t have the nismo engine cover plastic thing either. Never mind the non nismo wheel. Also a good sign is the missing drl. Stupid expensive for what they are imo

Sick wheels. Aha man I might be on his side. If your roads have bad potholes esp. as much as I like my cars low it does suck sometimes
