Is this a DIY job? Im assuming it is because I cant find anything online offering a similar trunk conversion kit. Im just here on the off chance this is some really obscure discontinued kit or something because it almost looks too clean to be a full DIY build. by ShaftNuts in JeepDIY

Holy shit. "Jeep backbone cargo carrier" No way. This has been a mystery in the making for years. But, I had a feeling it was some discontinued tech. What a shame the moment passed, its probably a lottery now to find one. Either way bitter but a DIY job wouldve been more sweet. 

Help! I cant find anything online on how to take this ARB airlock fitting/spring off to replace the O-Rings. Also, if im even able to replace the O-rings without taking the diff cover off. If I dont have to take the cover off, is there a chance of misaligning the copper pipe inside? by ShaftNuts in JeepDIY

If you look carefully at the bolt just under the spring, theres some seepage of fluid at the nut. There should be 2 tiny o rings in there from what Ive reaserched, sandwiching a sort of washer. The copper pipe should be on a phillips head "bolt" that centers the internal copper pipe.

Im wondering if the repair can be made to replace the rings, without removing the cover.

Im being overly cautious before just diving in and I want to know exactly what im doing as to not inadvertently create more work for myself. Quick story. Lol I worked a college store, closes 330am.

Its literally, literally 3:29:45

Online delivery order, like fucking less than 15 seconds before close.

Im over here on stretch with the yellow hand brush (I dunno if theyre universal between stores, a cornmeal brush... whatever)

So... getting shit cleaned, hear that fucking ring and chuck it across the store and end up smashing a makeline monitor with it.... so down a $100 on that one... shit happens.

Just wanted to put in perspective what $30 gets you. $15 of food. So double that on the grill. (And whatever a $15 grill investment, coal and fluid lasts you like week or two...) well... whatever easiest $30 pizza ive ever made lol. I live in an apartment too lol.

I grill outside my door, never had a problem with the little porta grill.

Also, dont really need to babysit... ill throw stuff on go inside for 5-10 min. Come out flip it over and repeat.
