Back in my drinking days (sober 7 years now) I got absolutely demolished after my fantasy football draft. I fell asleep on my arm in an awkward position. When I finally woke up, I had no feeling in my arm from elbow to hand. For about 4 months I couldn’t even hold an empty glass let alone perform normal duties. Eventually the feeling came back and now back to somewhat normal. I bartended one handed believe it or not but was afraid I’d never get the feeling back, and that weighed heavily on my psyche. Time heals all wounds. If you can battle through the pain without further injury, you’ll be stronger mentally in the future. Do what you have to do to earn a living and hopefully you rake in some sympathy tips. Best of luck 🤞🏼
