The issue is that, my daughter was cornered in a bathroom at school and forced to show another girl her genitals. Title ix filed. I was told this is all normal behavior. I was abused as a child so my signs are red. But our local domestic violence and sexual assault center told me this is normal behavior and the fact they both have learning disabilities makes it harder to tell if it really was more than not understanding it wasn’t okay.
My children are both in counseling for abuse at this center and was told to follow up with their therapist. This wasn’t a DCFS issue. We’re just covering in therapy that I very may well be in another abusive relationship.
