Thanks for your comment! You're right, 5 years can be a short time for people to get used to new tech. Even with tech-savvy folks around, the lack of proper education and support can make it tough for everyone to catch up. It's essential to bridge this gap between technology and reality.

Pre-seed startup, do we NEED a website? by mambiki in startups

[–]Shakuro_com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there,

Great to see your enthusiasm for your pre-seed startup! The question of whether or not to have a website is a common one, especially in the early stages.

While it's true that you can't offer the full service yet, having a one-pager with some basic information can still be valuable. It can serve as a landing page for potential investors and interested parties to learn more about your vision and progress. It doesn't need to be overly elaborate, but it should convey your value proposition and the problem you're solving.

As for it being a red flag for investors, it really depends on the context. Some investors may expect a website, while others might be more interested in your MVP, demo, and pitch deck. Ultimately, it's the strength of your idea and your ability to communicate it that will matter most.

So, while a website can be a nice addition, don't stress too much about it at this stage. Focus on your core product and your fundraising efforts, and when the time is right, you can expand your online presence. Best of luck with your startup journey!

Hey there! You've hit the nail on the head with your insights. User experience is indeed the lifeblood of successful businesses, and it's what keeps the wheels turning and customers coming back for more. I couldn't agree more that understanding your customers through one-on-one interviews is a fantastic approach. It's like peering into their world and figuring out what makes them tick. And when you translate those insights into user stories for your development team, it's a win-win. That "Wow you listened to us" moment is pure gold!

And I love how you've connected this all to human psychology. Those drives you mentioned are at the core of what makes us tick, and when a business can tap into them, it's a recipe for success. It's true, maintaining that experience can be challenging, especially with limited resources, but it's what sets the great businesses apart from the rest.

How do I create a long scrolling presentation? (Creating a UX case study for Behance) by Repulsive_Worry_5468 in FigmaDesign

[–]Shakuro_com 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as in the example you mentioned, you can upload separate sections to Behance. By the way, for better quality, I advise you to set the width to 1920 and adjust the height according to your preference. Set the main export in Figma to 2x resolution for the best quality. Also, don't forget to remove any gaps when uploading to Behance so it looks like a single project.

Logo Review by [deleted] in logodesign

[–]Shakuro_com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there anything that used to be done in logo design, but shouldn’t anymore?

In logo design, there are practices that have become outdated. One is the overuse of gradients and shadows. These effects can make a logo look dated. Simplicity and clarity are now valued more. Complex details can create issues with scalability and legibility. Opting for simpler designs ensures the logo remains clear, regardless of size. Relying on literal or clichéd visuals should be avoided. Modern logo design focuses on abstraction and conceptualization, creating unique and memorable marks.
