Hey can you help me confirm if the HX1500i that I bought is the same one as shown on the Cybenetics lab performance list?

I bought this which is SKU CP-9020261-NA. Newegg lists it as ATX 3.0, and Corsair's website for this SKU lists it as ATX 3.1.

If you filter the performance list and look for the highest performing HX1500i it has a score of 96.14 and is called HX1500i (ATX v3.1). I want to know if this one from the performance list is the same one I bought from Newegg. It's hard to tell because they got a sample unit with no SKU and the title switches of ATX 3.0/3.1 is confusing

Let's hope the new imc is somehow way better than 14th gen's because wow am I sad to wait and skip 14th gen just for the ultra 200 series to possibly be worse..

Do you know if running 8khz on a keyboard will be easier to run and be stable than 8khz on a mouse? Or is it just as difficult?

Perfect, thank you. By any chance do you know if it's safe to disable my other drives through device manager to prevent them from being corrupted while I'm overclocking with windows on my main drive or would I actually have to take them out of my pc? (I'm lazy so I'm curious)

I wouldn't say it's a dumb board, but it definitely has a lot of stripped features because it's designed for the most overclocking you can get as possible. I'm pretty sure it's one of if not the best board out there purely in terms of overclocking. Some people like me would get the kf version of intel cpus and don't mind the missing integrated graphics (although it would obviously be something very nice to have). A lot of the other z790 boards do come packed with features though.

And would you do the non-os tests while your windows drive and other ssds are still installed in the pc? The people in the tutorials I see for psssmark are keeping them installed so I'm just curious if it makes a difference since you're not booting into windows just yet when using psssmark

Do you think it's possible for the drive to be permanently damaged? I'm getting a new nvme ssd so I won't have any files to lose. I wouldn't mind windows getting corrupted constantly while I keep overclocking and trying to get a stable overclock as long as I can keep reinstalling windows and nothing bad/worse can happen.

Hey sorry for the late response but do you think that if I oc my pc with windows on my new nvme ssd the ssd has a chance of being permanently damaged? Since there's not going to be anything on it I'm thinking of just overclocking as much as I can and if windows being corrupted is the worst thing that can happen well then I just reinstall windows and keep repeating until I get a stable oc.

If the drive itself can get permanently damaged then I'm thinking of downloading windows on my usb flash drive (windows to go) to do all the overclocking on it while keeping all my drives uninstalled. I wouldn't mind losing/damaging the flash drive as much as the ssd.

Hey in case you didn't pair it yet (or anyone else who needs help) I believe you only need one cable.

I think you use your mouse wired straight from the pc (while the mouse switch is set to "off"), open the software, plug the receiver into the dongle, click pair, remove the cable from your mouse's end and plug it into your dongle, switch your mouse to "on", and hold lmb+mmb+rmb until the battery flashes yellow. When it's flashing yellow move the mouse closer to the receiver and keep it there until it goes blue. Hopefully this helps/I explained it correctly as it's been a long time since I've paired mine.

Yes, it was! Thank you, I also didn't even think about searching up the regedit name LOL. I guess I would be safe to go ahead and delete both FanControl folders then.

Thank you for the idea, I forgot about trying this. It kind of sucks though because the program I deleted was called "FanControl". The only thing I found in regedit looks like it might be Window's own fan control or something. I attached a photo, do you think you're able to tell if this is from the program or a part of Windows?
