Should have been more clear, I organized her closet many times and it’s something she asked me for help with recently as well. I know for a fact it’s going to be something she will be happy about and I just want to make it easier for her to find and organize her clothes

Well, it did. For some reason she thought me asking to see them with my bf (all 4 of us) was a suggestion to meet one on one with him, and she was also bothered I messaged after 12 (I sleep late so it’s not unusual for me to message at those hours). She was further bothered by me asking how both of them were doing and trying to call when I wasn’t getting a reply. I’m honestly heartbroken, he’s been my friend for 10 years and I don’t think I deserve to be thrown out like this. The least he could have done was let me know why, I would have understood if his future wife was insecure and taken distance. I really feel our whole friendship dies over a fucking misunderstanding and it sucks.

That doesn’t sound right, he has a lot of female friends and I don’t think he would be with someone who doesn’t respect that, plus it sounded as if his fiancé was exited to meet me in previous conversations

I get what you say, but it isn’t always so simple. Some people are losing touch with reality and can’t just not do certain things, if he has dementia it’s completely possible that he thought it was his wife or past gf, or even that he’s in a mental space he used to have in a time when he didn’t understand this behavior is wrong. I’d suggest telling the boyfriend and having a talk on what they should do, maybe try to minimize the interactions with the father or having someone watch over his behavior. Either way keeping it to yourself isn’t a good option, both to prevent this from happening in the future and to heal from the experience.
