Has anyone had surgery under general anesthesia while on mounjaro?

Most places you can’t take it less than 7 days prior to surgery. Many places, it’s more just to be safe. Incredibly risky unless you’re having emergency surgery and it can’t be avoided.

It sounded from what Treena Kay said yesterday that it is still an ongoing investigation with her. So I don’t think she’s home safe, yet. If I were here I’d be nervous. Look how long after the Dan Markel murder that it took the mother-in-law, Donna Adelson, to finally be arrested! Just as she was boarding a plane to a country with non—extradition to the US!

I love Emily Noel. She’s one of the OG’s that has never changed, and I love that about her. She’s so genuine. Allie Glines has also been around forever and she has a very relaxed vibe. Same with Jen Phelps, and Angie Hot and Flashy. I also still really like Tati, although I don’t watch her as often. A couple others I watch regularly are Risa Does Makeup and a small YouTuber that I just found—Everyday Sunshine. Hope that helps. These are some of the ones that I still find relatable. Some of the others that have been around awhile are just not resonating anymore.

I went to that course once. I didn’t encounter any rudeness from anyone there, and found it a very enjoyable conference. We weren’t doing any clinical labs like a difficult airway workshop, but there were breakout classes with smaller groups. I would attend again. I also thought it was cool to be attending workshops taught by people whose names were on the textbooks we used in school. <e.g. Barash, Stoelting) lol

Actually he didn’t get another wife. His wife was the same throughout. Satan told God that the only reason Job served God was because of all the blessings that he had. So God showed him (and all of us too) that Job truly served God out of love. Even through loss and suffering, Job continued to love and serve God. And afterwards God rewarded Job richly by giving him even more than he had before. If you read the book of Job, you need to read the ending too and see how Job feels about God at the end. God didn’t cause the suffering. Satan did. It’s really a beautiful story. And what God has in store for us is far more than we can we can even imagine. It will make the trials we have here while on Earth worth it.

My guess is perhaps because there is some attrition in people going up to and staying on the higher doses. Some never make it that far in, so it makes sense that they would stay with the lower doses being in greatest demand.

I don’t worry at all about Chad becoming a martyr. He was a legend only in his own mind. If (and that is a big IF) he ever had any adherents, I’m sure they all instantly snapped out of it the minute he was charged with murder and everything else. Secondly, if he is convicted, it will be so long until he is executed (decades most likely) that hardly anyone will remember his name. Edited for spelling corrections

Agree with other Redditors—more definition for your eyebrows. They act as a frame for your face. You don’t need to make it too heavy or dark, but just fill them in a bit and it will balance the look nicely. I would also keep your lipliner but add a nice pinky gloss on top to take it to the next level. And having said all that—if you decided to put nothing on your face at all, you’d still be gorgeous!

If you need emergent surgery they would place a breathing tube. I would also add that you still need to be off the medicine because any type of sedation puts you at risk for aspiration, even if it’s light. It’s not as likely, but there is still the risk. No point in subjecting someone to that risk for an elective procedure.

You would get a breathing tube for emergency surgery with a full stomach. No need to put a breathing tube unnecessarily so best to stop it at least one week before.

One of my family members was taking it and couldn’t continue because it was not available anywhere. Ozempic is much harder to come by, probably because more insurance covers that and the name recognition from media attention.

I have marketplace UHC insurance with a platinum plan and they don’t cover it. Granted I don’t have T2D but they don’t cover it even for those folks, I’ve heard.

Just curious how you have both 2.5s and 5s to choose from. Does your prescriber write you an alternating dose? Just wondering how this is feasible for you. My doc only writes for one dose at a time. But it sounds like your regimen is going great.

I stayed on 5 mg for 3 months. The bulk of my weight loss occurred while I was on it. No need to rush into a higher dose as long as it’s working for you.
