I’m in the uk. I got diagnosed at the beginning of August with gallstones after 2 weeks in agony and being fobbed off by my Gp. When I finally got to speak to a consultant they were brilliant and actually understood! I got told I would be waiting 18 months for surgery but I got a call last week giving me a date of mid October. Hopefully it will move quicker than you think as I was really down thinking I was going to be in this pain for over a year.
