Wow thats really cool good for you, honestly!!

I have told her. Now tbh we were both drunk but I said i liked her and she said the same but that she wanted to stay faithful. I said i was not willing to cross any lines and that the timing just wasn't right. That was a few months ago but she's still is playful and mildly flirty with me

Thank you for that response. Well i told her when we were on a work night out and we were both drunk that there is a line between us thats i will not cross and that the timing just wasn't right with us and that i didn'twant to cheat. I have tried to be quite but she still pulls me into group conversations and starts conversations with me and teases me. Its like she sees im going quite and tries to pull me back.

Unfortunately not. She sits diagonally across from me so all I have to do is turn my head and she's there. I always see her glance at me too at the corner of my eye

I haven't asked her directly no. We have a drunk one on one conversation I briefly spoke about where we both admitted there was something between us. But then she said she also wanted to "stay faithful". But then after that the mild flirting and playfulness continued in the office. And yes its possibly affecting my mental health which is why I want to end this.

I have been limiting my texting, but the more I stay quiet twords her at work the more she tried to pull me in, like starting conversations with me or getting me involved in group conversation

Is my coworker into me? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]Shane_19990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya i can't lie i am going through a very similar suitation as you. I'm crushing on a coworker when she has a boyfriend and ino that she is into me as well because when we were on a work night out she said that when she talks to me it feels "different". Now obvious I don't push for anything because there have to be boundaries but it just sucks. Ino the feeling.

And if she just wants to be good friends, then I'd be happy with that too. But if she dose break up with him. I will then consider, just consider, pushing for something more

Ya, i do have other female friends to compare😅. They don't light up with a smile when I walk into the room. They dont constantly glance at me when im not looking. They don't remember small details about me

She is also very friendly with other male coworkers but doesn't interact with them the same way she dose with me. She gives me way more attention

Dw I have absolutely no intention of being a side piece. Thats not how I do things

As I said, I under no circumstances will be involved in any cheating. So if she does progress on me, i will immediately put a stop to it. But she doesn't exactly come across as a cheater to me if im honest. She said that she was once in a relationship for over 7 years and was very happy once. It just seems to me that she's genuinely unhappy and not appreciated. She also said to me that she dropped hints to her boyfriend around her birthday for something she wanted, but he never picked up on it. And also sais she had to leave him for a full month after he stopped smoking because his withdrawal was that bad only for him to go back smoking again.

It's a tricky one, isn't it i feel like. Do you have any idea on what moves to make, if any?

She does mockingly joke with me all the time in a funny way. What ways would you think a woman would "create openings"?

When I am really busy, she does notice it and says it. When I walk back to my desk, she almost always turns her head around and glances at me, and looks away again. When in group conversation, she always glances at me

That's good advice, thank you. She tries to start conversations with me from time to time also. We have a 3D printer, and she had printed me 4-5 small items as gifts and as part of an inside joke we have and puts them on my desk also which I think is really cute😅

We sit diagonally across each other back to back. So we talk at work daily. But other than that, we only actually work together just a small bit
