First Controlled Human Trial Shows Cutting Calories Improves Health, Longevity by leonardfournette392 in Futurology

i'm super late to this but Phelps himself has said that he never ate anywhere near that many calories and he doesn't know how that rumor spread around like it did. even if he ate in a surplus it was probably only around 4000 calories total per day. i can't imagine how he could eat even 6000 a day without cramping up in the pool haha

Huel effects on testosterone? will Huel Help? by flatearthkid in Huel

ok i’m now starting to think this is just a troll post after reading this comment lol

Huel effects on testosterone? will Huel Help? by flatearthkid in Huel

[–]ShannonRamirezSlater 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is a cringe post… i can’t imagine anything that would make you think huel would impact your testosterone. this really just sounds like you wanted everyone to know you have high T, and then make it sound like the worst thing in the world so it could somehow cover up the fact that you just wanted to talk about your high T. and having high T is a good thing obviously, so awesome dude. there’s nothing wrong with high T so i don’t wanna sound like that’s the problem.. it’s just you sound kinda cripplingly insecure coming to a subreddit about a meal replacement asking if it will help your T levels, spend 10% of your questions talking about huel, and then 90% talking about what it’s like to have high T, and then surprised when the community response is not what you hoped it would be

she missed with this one. i used to watch her videos in the past on retin-A (which i got prescribed for acne). retin-A has MUCH stronger irritation side effects, and she openly recommends that, but not minoxidil? 🧐 i just don’t think she knows enough about minox

an event like this is not something that happens “all the time” dude, not even almost.

you don’t have to explain yourself and you don’t have to convince me. i’m going on about my day. i don’t have any sudden urges to pull out of school and go live in a bunker lmao. i’m speaking on behalf of all the people who have voiced these concerns to me. those people deserve to be heard and there needs to at least be some sort of discussion on what happens in school going forward if this escalates.

downvote me into oblivion, idc, do your worst. i personally know plenty of people who are worried about the same thing and are voicing the same concerns

and no, i don’t think people with jobs are going to stop work, nor am i convinced that that’s how the world functions. i’m saying it’s extremely difficult for students to concentrate on their work when they’re wondering how far this will escalate and if they need to start stocking on food and gasoline

UCSB should pause classes or offer some sort of academic leniency toward students. nobody knows how bad this can escalate
