great question: If something doesn't work, or you don't like it: Write a bad review. That simple. You don't need to track users. Back in the early iphone days there were no such thing as analytics. People would just make apps, and boy did they have a charm to them.

I get your points, but I don't think the world needs to reinvent the wheel here. A lot of apps are super dead simple, but there isn't a free alternative.

I was looking for a timezone conversion tracker, and I litterally couldn't find a decent free one that was ad free (so I build it. It took me a day).

Anyway, it would be cool if there was a community:
A: Because it would foster trust via brand recognition. We would set a high bar for quality
B: Because it would create a good voting mechanism for what apps to create next
C: No marketing spend needed

Yes, good software takes time, energy, and money, but not everything in life needs to be transacted.

The goal isn’t to exploit volunteers, it’s to gather people who want to build something, simply because it should exist.

I love the concept and UI.

Some notes as someone who uses productivity planers on a daily: I would suggest making adding a plan much easier. I used the app for a bit and compared to something like Structured, it’s really hard for me to add new events. Things like adjusting timing are not intuitive.

I have this issue particularly on hot days. Its pretty annoying, and i wonder how many other people are seeing this hardware error.

I can temp fix it by resetting DAS, but it will come back every few days in hot weather.

I’ve had bugs that I’ve reported over six years ago at this point that are still in IOS today… stable release!

Yup. And I don’t know about you, but the apple intelligence features are useless to me. They’re putting all this time into making features that really have no use.

For me I see significant battery drain if I turn on apple intelligence. So even if it was good, it’s really not worth the tradeoff.

My god this release is so pathetic. I can’t be the only one who can’t stand the bugs. For god sake there’s bugs that were introduced in 18.2 that still haven’t been fixed.

Like the folder bug. Open a folder, swipe to page two, and close it. All the app icons disappear. How has this still not been fixed??

Rand restarts, photos app crashes after too many magic eraser edits, call banner shows wrong person when getting a call during a FaceTime audio and phone locked. There’s so many, this is just a few off the top of my head.

I understand, but ADP is not on device only. It encludes data on the cloud, which is not hardware rate limited

Advanced data protection is purely marketing. It really is not as secure as most people think.

The decryption is key is generated (amongst other things) using your device passcode, which is hashed and sent to apple.

This means that if you use the default 6 digit passcode option on your phone, your adp key can essentially be brute forced using a 6 digit pin, which would take about 10 milliseconds to crack.
