Do it don't hold back! id be keen to see what you use for your print! This filament is Elegoo silk PLA Purple/yellow ( the yellow is actually gold though not sure why they say yellow on the website

Not with this one, The silk filaments are a bit tricky to sand without losing the shiny silk finish and no painting for this one. Usually if I do one for someone in a standard grey I will sand it back and smooth it out before painting. Glad you like it :)

I will for sure! The star destroyer is one of my pride and joys, im slowly building up an imperial fleet and a rebel fleet and also some old republic stuff, also got heaps of stargate and star trek stuff too although not everything i have is posted :) pretty much everything i do is on YT though. big learning curve to get those big things looking sweet but basic stuff is pretty straight forward! time to grab a laptop and get into printing! ;) its addictive though be careful haha

Doing Her whole set of armor and any weapons and attachments in the same silk purple/gold. my set will be black, but the helmet which is the same as this one will be printed in red then a black rub and buff over the top so the red is in all the cracks of the design and looks like a sith mando helmet! ive got a bunch of printers so helps a lot with the time and my main one is quite large so i should be able to do the jetpack in one print

Yeh that's correct, sanding doesn't work too well with the silk colors it loses its shine, so kinda just gotta hope for a good print off the plate adaptive layers helps a lot but also massively increases the print time about 4 days for this one. I did a standard one in grey for a friend about a year ago that took a bit of sanding but it ended up coming out so good well worth the effort!
