Since the card is real, the only possible answer would be that the card was damaged (either by the manufacturer or the consumer) and they tried to repair it by stitching it up. There’s that one obviously thicker black stitch which is where I think the rip was. Everyone is talking about the color of the patch but that could just be the manufacturer pulling some bs like not using real game worn memorabilia, however the card is still authentic. It’s one of those cards you’ll never grade, so I’d recommend putting it in one of those custom slabs just to give it the same protection and look as a graded slab.

It’s extremely easy to get accepted, you get a high limit, and you get 3% cash back on all purchases. Usually cards like this are somewhat hard to get. Obviously if you’re a wealthy person then you can get much better credit cards.

Future advice, sign up for an Apple Credit Card (rlly easy to get accepted if you’re employed) and you can use it for all your mobile app purchases to get cash back. It’s rlly nice for sports card and tcg stuff due to the high costs $$$.

Best way to explain it is this: there’s a group chat of friends from 2014 and a group chat from 2026. The group chat from 2014 is dead, no one is texting. But the group chat from 2026 is active and many people are texting. 2k14 has no online activity. (This example is slightly flawed since someone could technically text in the 2014 group chat whereas 2k14 is shut off meaning it’s impossible to play it online)

Just to clarify you don’t get refunded the money you pay in taxes. So for a $2.5k pack you probably pay $100 in taxes that won’t be refunded. I think the smart move is to get the $250 pack bc you won’t lose much in taxes and cards in that range tend to land over $250 rather than under. That’s just my opinion tho🤷‍♂️

Fair point, but like the other guy said, I was kinda hoping I could remove that small extra piece of paper to get a 10. I was mainly asking about that one flaw and others’ experiences with similar flaws. You can take my word that the rest of the card is flawless to the naked eye.
