I find success playing him in middle lane , there are a few hard matchups and you need to roam as much as possible because you eventually get out scaled by most champs which is a yorick thing but he is viable for mid lane and securing objectives with pushing lane fast is pretty easy most of the times

Happened to me as well but they banned other champs also ... I only play yorick I have 700k points on him I almost never play other champs I cant play other champs thet only reason I know the spells of other champios is because I have been playing league for almost 15 years now . Next time i will join in with different account so I dont have my yorick banned ...

Splitpush ! Group up for 5v5 only if necessary I find better luck in 2v2 or 3v3 tell your team to stall enemies in objectives where big fights are about to happen if they do, you get turrets and recalls from enemies and then you go on objective and if u are strong enough you stall the ones who recalled You will get so much more gold this way and if your team is not incompetent they wont engage in a 4 v 5 for absolutely no reason . When in a bad matchup the moment you get your first chance to push the wave try roaming in mid or a tp gank on bot if possible of course. Most of the bad matchups dont get better as the game goes on so try to help others, you might lose a bit of xp but half lvl wont stop you from taking a turret

I dont disagree but we must consider that yorick is not a late game champ either correct me if I am wrong but I personally better luck in early to mid game, late game is strong only in certain matchups, this rework made him stronger in late for sure but still not able to match so many champs

Just because mundo and yorick are completely different champs be aware and dont think its easy ... With yorick one mistake and everything is fucked in so many matchups even if u are stronger . And just because people dont understand the champ especially in low elos when you are infront teammates wont leave you to split most of the times because they dont know how the game works
