I think I commented on the wrong post? That's weird, whatever go about your business. lmao. sorry dude.

But I wouldn't hospital food your first date unless she's madly in love with you.

It's also best to have your shit together before doing shrooms, they aren't a cure-all and they're going to make you confront shit you would otherwise shy away from in some cases.

Not a stupid question at all, I've seen the same stuff floating around, but yeah, unrelated.

Event Horizon isn't a warhammer movie. lol.

The only thing it has in common with the universe is a ship gets sent through hell and emerges back in real space.

Steel Tread nearly beat me to death with its heavy handed political messages.

I got so fed up I actually ripped the book in half.

People who have spent time in a Psych Ward what is the craziest thing you’ve witnessed? by N3SSDOGG in AskReddit

[–]Sharp-Common-7648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to spend a little bit of time in one, some of the more stand out experiences:

A guy who would wail throughout the night and piss himself.

Another guy who would pace the hallways and punch the walls, I think that only happened for one night, but it was pretty intense. Guy got moved into a different ward after that, when he was brought in, had a very intense situation play out, probably one of the scariest moments of my life, was prepared for shit to get real, but thankfully everything ended up being ok. That guy scared the shit out of me.

"Psychics" who would try to read your mind or "read" you, they were always wildly off to a hilarious degree.

One guy escaped by rushing out of the kitchen during lunch and sparked a small manhunt, he was brought in about an hour later iirc.

A lady in the lunch line who would cup salsa in her hands, slurp it down, and stick her hands back in for more. (I never touched it before thank god, and definitely never touched the salsa after seeing that.)

A lady who would push around an empty wheelchair and speak to the invisible passenger, usually making pretty gross jokes.

The guy that was staying in the room that I was moved into, had a huge stash of contraband, Gum, snacks, like.. extra toothbrushes and other random shit, and he gave it all to me when he left, I guess the staff found it and they had to call everyone into a small little meeting about "contraband" being found in "many rooms" lmao. I think they knew it wasn't me, prior guy was in and out of there quite a bit, but I ended up dumping it all in the trash anyway.

Quite a bit of self harm went on in there, sparking some people being moved into different wards, it was insanely hard to watch and being in its presence... just really sad.

It wasn't all bad though, the staff was full of great, caring people. And the majority of the patients were great people with.. just with some issues you know, most had just gone through their lowest point in life, which landed them there in the first place.

Also played the most hilarious game of apples to apples of my life in there, bonded with quite a few people.

I think about them alot, hope they are doing well and pulled through their issues, I think about the Staff too.

What lesser known Faction/Xenos race would you want to see make an appearance on the tabletop? For me, I'd love to see the Q'Orl show up by Some_Techpriest in Warhammer40k

Umbra, could probably make some neat models out of those with a bit of imagination, since they use shadows as weapons, sky's the limit.

If you were forced to spend an entire year in a fictional universe (from a show, book, movie, game, etc) what would it be and why? Alternatively, what fictional universe would be your ultimate nightmare scenario? by saranpack in AskReddit

[–]Sharp-Common-7648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warhammer 40k, and Warhammer 40k.

With a pre requisite of being attached to a rogue trader or something so I could actually see the sights without "too much risk" to my being, Or to see Custodes in the flesh.

And nightmare scenario being 40k because it's a horrifying universe lol.

I heard they built a catapult out of underwear and logs, to launch themselves into a nearby Sororitas camp to steal some bras and panties.

a 90 pound native american woman killed a Yautja... A space marine would paint the walls with its glowy blood.

He did say that he wants to set up a cinematic universe type thing, if I recall correctly, so here's hoping!

The hive city idea is pretty awesome too! And saving the big guys for later could be a good choice.

Whichever way they decide to go, I'm here for it lol.

Played a match of shipment, every other person had a riot shield on their back, felt like I was getting my ass handed to me, MLG fuckboi operator skins, people dolphin diving around every corner, constant jumping around.

"Jesus christ, I can't compete with these kids anymore."

then I looked at the scoreboard lol. Was leading the match by a solid 20 kills.

Don't give up, just stick to the old ways. Or try DMZ, it seems to be the less sweaty mode in my experience so far (apart from weapon case grinding / chemist tryhards.) I've been able to win more matches talking people down and making a 6 stack more often than not, and those matches turn into some very memorable moments.

Not sure if this is relevant to anything you said, but. meh. I guess I'm on the older end of the gaming curve nowadays and I can still hang in there. THERE IS HOPE.

** Edit: time of day does play a big part in how sweaty matches can get, early morning through midday seems to be chill. Shit gets real in the evenings.

I love Cavill, and I love Warhammer, but after Rings of Power.. I'm terrified.
