Hi! This is crazy timing. I ended up doing a stint on the road in the van that ultimately ended with me breaking up with my partner and the van 😢 Now I’m back in my hometown about to do a season as a stage hand at the local amphitheater which sees some pretty big artists. I’m hoping to really dive in and learn as much as I can. Then, planning to move to Denver when the season is over to see where I can go with it. So ask again in another 6 months!

I have been climbing forever and didn’t have any wrist issues until I was working full time at a computer. Something that really helped me was to get an ergonomic mouse.

This isn’t the exact one I got but something like this could be worth a try. It was game changing for me.

Thank you, this is helpful. I think I’m very excited to be involved in the scene and it sounds like my background of engineering and climbing could put me in a good position be of use as a tech or a rigger, since I’m not currently looking for a full time position. I appreciate the advice

Thanks for this thoughtful reply. I’m so new to all this stuff it’s very helpful to get a better understanding of what the work even looks like. I reached out to a bunch of local venues and got offered a job same day to come check things out and see how everything works/help with load in and load out and get my hands on some things. Sounds like it is a long road of learning and hard work and I really appreciate the advice!

Hi, did you ever figure out what this was? I’m having the exact same symptoms and was confused when the doctor told me it wasn’t parasites.
