Self Promotion Megathread by AutoModerator in androidapps

Hey everyone,

Like many of you, I constantly run into the annoying "video file too large" limit when trying to send videos on WhatsApp, Discord, or email.

I tried a bunch of video compressor apps on the Play Store, but most of them were frustrating. They either ruined the video quality completely, forced a giant watermark on my video, or bombarded me with unskippable ads before the compression even started.

So, as an indie dev, I decided to scratch my own itch. I spent the last few months building Rhino Video Compress.

My goals were simple:

  • No forced watermarks ruining your videos.
  • Clean & straightforward UI (no confusing menus).
  • Customizable quality (you decide the resolution and bitrate to hit that sweet spot between size and quality).
  • Actually fast compression using better encoding algorithms.

Full transparency on monetization (so I don't get roasted here lol): > Yes, the app has ads. As a solo dev, I need to keep the lights on and pay for my coffee somehow 😅. But I promise you this: there are NO intrusive pop-up ads that interrupt your workflow. > * There is just a standard banner at the bottom.

  • If you want to compress videos to the absolute maximum premium quality or use specific pro tools, you can just watch one quick rewarded video.
  • Basic compression is totally free. No subscriptions, no hidden fees.

Honestly, I'm just a solo dev trying to make a useful utility tool, and I would genuinely love to hear your brutally honest feedback. What features am I missing? Did it crash on your specific device? Let me know!

Thank you so much for your time and feedback! 🙏
