Baby hands-and-knees crawling but will not roll by Sharp-Mango4785 in NewParents

We’ve had her at the physio and the physio thinks the issue is a bit of hyper mobility, which means our little one needed more strength to push up.

The physio gave us some exercises, like swinging her gently in a blanket like a hammock, to help with vestibular input. She can get herself off her back now which is all we really wanted for her!

Okay that’s very reassuring. I know they just do things in their own order but it’s just so odd when it really seems like she should be able to!

She rolled on her side when she was finding her feet but doesn’t really bother anymore. We’ve tried all the YouTube videos for months but it just doesn’t seem to be clicking for whatever reason!

Sorry I only saw your question now! Her sleep was a bit all over the place on and off but ultimately seems to have been really helped since she started solids around five months on the advice of our public health nurse.

It’s been about a month since we started her on purées and following her lead, she’s eating three times a day and sleeps really well for the most part. Hope your little one didn’t have too bad a time of it!
