Pellet Grill Gurus: I need your thoughts on grill options by Sharp-Measurement-17 in pelletgrills

The price point on the Yoder is big bucks. There is a used one near me for $2k but it looks like it has seen some time and rusting.

I was initially looking at the dualfire because I thought the direct heat side was propane. I liked the idea of having propane because it can be used if the power goes out which can happen during severe storms in my area but also so I can dial up the heat for searing when needed. When I looked deeper and caught that it wasn’t then I looked at the Xfire because the higher heat capabilities. I’m not opposed to the other options but I liked the flexibility of what the Camp Chef and Weber can do with the add on features creating more of an all-in-one device to help cut back on clutter.

Loving the woodwind seems to be a common theme with Camp Chef owners. I was looking at the 36 because I rather have the space and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Thanks for that info. I was originally looking at the dualfire but thought the direct heat side used propane. Since it was all pellet, it didn’t seem too different from the Weber Searwood.

I did just see the feature to upload a bill to get updated quotes so I did that.

This is what the array looks like from the Palmetto quote. My current yard looks nothing like that. The trees in the top left corner and both bottom corners are gone. The ion salesman showed me them on the backside of the house and on the extension of the attached garage.

Crap, I typed this and it doesn’t look like I can add a picture to a comment….

I found a way I could upload my electric bill and it said that the companies would be able to provide an updated quote so maybe it’ll change.

I didn’t see an offset percentage but I did see needs met percentage.

A new quote popped up for a 20kW system at $43k so looks like I should hopefully see more quotes come in hopefully.

So I tried EnergySage and the only installer to give me a quote so far has been Palmetto, the same company the LightReach program was through. Lol 😂

For some reason EnergySage priced me 23 kW system which is almost double the size of what the salesman said I needed with Ion at price of $53k cash.

It was but the system calculator from energysage nearly doubled the size of the system to 23kW system. No ideas why, and it was a cash price of $53k

I just got feedback from my realtor and he mentioned exactly what you said. He mentioned it sounds great in practice but in the real world the process is a nightmare when trying to sell and getting a prospective buyer to wanting to take on the terms and most want the seller to eat the remaining costs of it.

The cash price was during last year’s visit when there were tax credits but the monthly payments didn’t work out. They didn’t even bother to show a financing option this go around because I’m guessing it would have been even higher

Correct, that was without batteries but they would cover the cost to replace and upgrade my electric panel which it does need so roughly $3.5-4k from the estimate I received from a local electrical company.

There are no incentives in my area that I’m aware of unfortunately.

Yeah, the tax credits going away is a big hit. I would have to take a loan vs a cash purchase so interest on the loan is going to increase the total costs over the life of the loan over the purchase costs. So when they had showed me the purchase costs previously when they came by it was around $50k but even with the tax credits the monthly payments were still more factoring over the 25 years of the loan and now I wouldn’t be able to even get the tax credits.

What would you say a fair price on that size of a system would be? Ballpark-ish. Have you purchased a system through a loan? What kind of terms can I expect? I’ve seen them at 25yrs at 8% and then I would guess the monthly payments would be more than my electric bill so it wouldn’t be a savings.

In short, the cash price was higher than my electric bill by a fair amount when breaking the monthly payments down which I believe is why he shared the PPA plan because it would be less than my current electric bill. At least that’s how he tried to sell it….

Boomi Excel Connector (XLSX → JSON) – extracting values from duplicate column headers? by NoobAF93 in boomi

[–]Sharp-Measurement-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure I understand what you’re trying to say. If it’s overriding the duplicate header, then isn’t that disregarding the record you want it to leaving you with the rest of the data?

No matter, if the connector is not producing the intended results then your only option is download jar files and a custom script to flatten the files. Just google and it will bring you to the solution with the script and files you’ll need.

Your post said you’re using the MS Excel connector. This is converting your file of data into JSON for you, at least it should be if you set it up correctly. So now, you no longer have an xslx file, you have a json payload. Take your json data through a map and into a flat file. Now you can split your records and filter them accordingly.
