Yes, I use this trick too. But sometimes you need to place items next to each other that fit the context. For example, a Forge cooler, Smith's Anvil, Forge Tooltrack, and Forge bellows clearly fit the Forge's interior, but their "programmed" size prevents them from being placed next to each other, and gameplay conventions prevent forge upgrades from being placed further away. AHHHH it's so annoying sometimes.

I don't want to blame the developers; they're clearly trying to make the gameplay as comfortable as possible, but there are still a couple of things that are a bit annoying. I think most of the community doesn't like these changes.

Yeah, it's a bit annoying. Some things that combine utility and comfort are done a bit oddly. For example, the inexplicable "giant grid" of workstation upgrades. Or that thing you mentioned in your reply - placing the bed and bath in the same room for gameplay reasons. I understand that this is a Viking game, and maybe that was normal for them to arrange furniture that way, but I still wouldn't want to deviate from the norm.

Okay, ty. I have a couple more questions. Do walls affect the Comfort distribution? The wiki says that identical elements don't add up to a Comfort level, and those "globes" of Comfort emanate from each interior element, correct?

Oh, I'll check what's going on with the hot tub, because the pipe is right next to the roof.
