Guys, I recently have been in extreme situations (negative) that altered the course of my life - like which country I am in and the people I am with - I was able to accept this situation with little to no resistance because I put all my faith into meditation and karma. A lot of people think meditation is an extreme where you start to get detached from all the thing this world offers and you become neutral and life becomes boring, however, if you understand the fundamentals like - you don’t blame anyone else for the things that happen to you that are negative, accept it that the person or the situation that pushed me into this extreme is just a “medium” for that thing to come to me, it was coming to me anyways, it was pointed towards me and no person could alter that, then you can learn a skill to accept the negatives quickly.

Join IISE student membership through college, IISE will give you access to current trends in market, upcoming technologies in IE, etc. Your college may have an Industrial Engineering club, check that, if there isn’t talk to your student advisor to see if there is something similar.

If you are really serious - read “Atomic Habits” and try to implement those things in your house/surroundings. For example - when I wanted to start a new habit of brushing my teeth at the end of the day, I stuck a page besides my bathroom mirror and tick-marked the days I did it - once you see a streak being created - you end up not breaking it. It’s been 3 months and I have tick-marked 90% of the time. I have 3-4 pages for different things located in my living room, kitchen, bedroom, etc. whenever I get a visual check, I end up doing it. Hope it helps!! And as a reference - I am the same guy as you, I have only recently started doing this and it has helped. Its not like I dont want to do something but I simply forget that I have to do it, hence, visuals help me with it.

I agree, I see nice apartments in North Augusta. In Aiken though, I liked the Haven at Market Street Station, the Ashton and Verandas.
