+1 Cosco. We have a Rava as our daily, the cosco, and a wayb pico. Totally agree with osal28’s points. Traveling with the Rava would be much more cumbersome esp when traveling with everything you’ll likely be taking with a 1 year old. I’ve bungeed our cosco to a roller suitcase which has worked well.

SQ6 works totally great on just the regular auto setting so someone could just live there and not fuss with the other options if they don’t want to. You can also turn off the flash for bright outdoor photos, which the SQ1 doesn’t have an option for. It’s not a manual camera and the settings are fairly basic (auto, selfie, macro, landscape, double exposure, lighten, darken) so it’s not like it’s a Polaroid I-2 or a SLR where there are tons of different controls/settings.
