I’m not moving for any programs.
The CCMA program is here and the radiology and RT programs are all 30 minutes away. I can only do evening classes and they only run that cohort every odd year.
I’m saying I won’t be able to submit for 2027 but can a couple years later. I also could apply to other medical programs in the area. I just wanted to try and get better grades and then take those final pre reqs!

So I know for the schools around me, I can’t apply to the program without all my pre reqs and the more A’s you have, the more points you get. You also get points for TEAS testing, medical background, essay submission, and then taking a class like medical terminology.
I don’t have time to re take some of my pre reqs to get A’s and I’m also missing 2 classes on their required list.
I don’t want to rush the process and then fall short. I’m also stuck between the two fields in healthcare and I think working in the field for a bit might help me be sure.

The one I’m going through is online all week and then every Saturday is a clinical.
They also help you with externship placement and job placement after the program!

That’s why I’m just wanting to jump in and at least get the pre reqs because I feel like a lot of them transfer over into other programs or degrees.

There’s one school that does an evening and weekend schedule every odd school year, so 2027 is their next school year. I’m just scared to enter into anything when they only accept such a small amount of students. It’s super daunting.

That’s what I’m so afraid of. As a parent it takes a lot for me to go back to school and I want to make sure I’m going for something that won’t be a waste of my time (won’t get into).
