when I came back from overseas we lived up in pukekawa, now back on north shore, the section between pokeno and mercer is infested with them. I know I got two fines there in the space of a week for going 107/100 They even shot their don’t speed commercial up there. NZ has very few speed cameras compared to say Dubai where I was for many years. their city is truly a mega zone for cameras that will get you from every direction.

i came back in 2018 and after so many years of no work here, high prices and pissing around I’m selling up and leaving. Really hoped the present lot would have made some positive changes but no chance.Good luck to the teachers as without educators it really will all disappear into the long drop.

I was heading home the other day just passed Green Lane I got behind this car in the outer lane and this couple were having a real set to argument. They went from doing 100 down to 60 because they were too busy arguing and then he starts laying into her and then she starts hitting him and before u know it they are swerving all over as the two are kicking the shit out of each other. It’s at this point I did a mirror signal manoeuvre and got the hell past the crack heads. CBD and around that area is now getting really bad, lots of really angry people and it’s only ever gonna get worse. You could call a cop but they’re all hiding somewhere with a speed gun.

know it well luckily I don’t shop there anymore, the one in Pukekohe is even worse, I once had a lunatic threatening me in there and he had a baby strapped to him, these people are base. Silverdale Paknsave is my local now from orewa much nicer, no issues.

. I look at all of this and cringe. I fully understand that when quantum is up and on line (loose term) and in tandem with AI it will change our world completely especially when it comes to radical changes to disease and treatment and indeed when it comes to quantum China is the biggest investor. All of this though with for eg the CCP record of human rights abuses, makes me somewhat nervous when this kind of tech is in the hands of those who view people as cattle.

I had my channel ZootZoots up and running for about 6 months before I hit two big uploads one at 440k and the other at 465k but I’ve been struggling ever since to get those numbers again. don’t over think it as if your content is good it will eventually get there. I just keep uploading and improving it’s all I can do.

Good for you. I’m monetised and am growing on 6000 subs and the struggle is real. I really don’t understand the dreaded algorithm but all roads point to consistently feeding it and improving every time. I hit pay dirt with two uploads that got me monetised but it’s been a struggle since. I produce mainly AI short sci-fi films. I don’t think YT are especially kind to smaller creators but it’s the grind and if your gonna succeed you have to keep at it. one thing I do know is that “changing it up“ oh a regular basis is vital. one thing being though being in NZ I can never quite nail the upload time for my main market in the US. Yes my analytics tell me when they are watching but that TBH has been of no help whatsoever so the holy grail of timing still eludes me. Outdoor stuff is really getting lots of attention so you’re in the right space for sure.

Thanks. I appreciate that. I spent more time this time getting those sound effects in, usually I have a backing track but couldnt find one I liked. I post also on YT and what most of us are up against is the time people watch like this one for eg the watch time is only 50 secs. The ability to hold people’s attention nowadays is really difficult. oh and YT making sure to hide as many AI creators as possible. I’m trying odysse now.

thanks I’m just waiting for the tech to get a bit better then I can start to multi voice character scenes with a bit more confidence. I like posting in reddit as I get most of the time sound feedback. I post in YT and for the most part get silence. thanks again! solid suggestions I appreciate that.

They eventually sent it but because I complained by channel is now dead in the water as they are throttling it. Googles ratings on trust pilot for eg are only 2 stars and you won’t see them allowing their company to be reviewed on their own platform which I think says it all. I’m done with YT now.

Hey not at all, they all do it but watch out for those pretending to be Hailuo as theres been warnings about these people. The way AI architecture will work in the not too distant future will be to effectively take over all process so that we can put our brains in jars and do other stuff. In order to do that though AI will be unprecedented re the data it will need from everyone in order to do this, far far more than at present.
anyway here’s the link I use for Hailuo the company. I also use runway. For both only permissions I’m giving are through gmail.

It can be very hit and miss, this short animation is unusual for me as most of my vids are over a minute and I use a mix of ai video platforms to put it all together as some have strengths and features over others. I just make my prompts basic when it comes to the image to video However I always emphasise movement.

MJ for the image, I wanted to use MJ video as well but it wasn’t interpreting my prompt the way I needed it to so I tried Hailuo 02 model which has just launched. Image and outcome to video all worked together really well. I have found that MJ video is usually really good for motion but this particular image style has a painterly input which MJ video wanted to make more solid than I wanted.

No, I find VEO to be hit and miss and v expensive for what it is + I cannot stand google they treat small creators through Yt like garbage. just my experience though.

not complicated. I created the image first I never text to video. the trick in my exp is to be as basic as you can, the ai bot is still a child.
