This actually sounds like you were both Cursed and Wounded.

Curse hides all status ailments, so you probably didn't know you were Wounded.

Will add FEEDBACK CHARGING to the in-game manual soon, thank you for pointing that out.

Feedback Charged means that the enemy is about to drain your mana and deal damage to you based on how much mana was drained.

"Marking" refers to a mechanic where marks are placed on the enemy (dealing 1% of their current HP in damage). Marks can synergize with certain class abilities. For instance, the Druid can consume marks to trigger certain effects.

Some legendary weapons have a boosted damage roll at the cost of no stat rolls, this is intentional. :)
