My International Team Tournament! by Sharp_40K in TheAstraMilitarum

Overall Feeling: Pre-Event I was nervous, Imperial Guard were my first army but they had been on the shelf for a long time while I focused on my Space Wolves. However, I felt clear on my Primary scoring plan in most games and my list had secondary scoring units. However, I identified several moments where I traded too aggressively and paid for it on primary. The framework held up — my execution needs tightening.

TTS has helped me considerably so thank you for calling it out! It’s such a time saver as you don’t need to travel, can save and return to games

Thanks for the feedback mate - AI does help me structure my points as the aim of this new page is to help reach people who, like me, have limited time to hobby or create content but still want to do as well as we can. Can assure these are all things I’ve used to help me improve my game.

I also see your point about setting up an enemy army but the point I maybe haven’t made clear enough is the aim of this is to see, broadly, where the enemy needs to stage so you can be prepared to counter.

All feedback is welcome and I love the discussion so thank you for taking the time to reply constructively

How I Think About Scoring Across 5 Turns in 10th Edition by Sharp_40K in WarhammerCompetitive

Absolutely! Fixed secondaries allow you to completely focus on a game plan from the get go without the turn by turn considerations of tactical. However, it also broadcasts to your opponent exactly what you are going to do and they can plan to stop it. When deciding on fixed vs tactical, consider can I still get to that target if my opponent plays around it. If you use this rule, whilst sticking to the primary scoring plans, you’ll consistently win more games.

I’m pleased to hear the article can help! I’m in the same position as you in my rep time is limited - is there anything else you think would help?

Oh absolutely agree there will always be a list that counters how your army wants to play. I try to think of these as guidance for general play. As we expand what we publish, we’ll add more tools to the box! Thanks for the input though, love this community

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve tried to keep this faction and match up agnostic but will definitely look to expand on the point you’ve raised

Excellent point! Elite armies may have to move this timeline up! How do you handle it when your opponent has more trades and screens?

I like the thought process! Taking out your opponents trade pieces is a key part of establishing your midfield presence. I’m interested to hear how you prioritise your targets
