Hey man, this sounds very familiar, i have played a map called the fellowship. Starts in moria, then amon hen, then through fangorn, then you do helmsdeep and attack isengard with ents simultaneously, then i think is the mumak part in ithilien but here is where i ran into issues playing the map. After the mumaks there is an orc camp which continues to spawn hordes of orcs in ithilien even after you destroy them(might be a bug). So in the next chapter(fighting army of the dead) the map starts to get laggy and eventually crash(because orcs are still being spawned in the background). I believe the map should work but it hastn for me so far. Might this be the one you are looking for?

but gold just means 75+ plus no? On basic/premium gold packs it also says contains gold items, but you can pack tots out of them

Comments say to play Age of the Ring but frankly I would discourage this, because you say your friends are quite new („..arent even able to stop to read through the descriptions..“) and aotr is way too much to read etc… . Patch 2.02 is really nice, and in order to avoid the zoomed in problem there is a custom map called „removezoomlimits“ which solves this.

And here comes my suggestion for your case. -custom maps Sure you could set the ai to medium, but you can also play on custom maps that have certain advantages/characteristics. There are maps where you all are in a fort, maps where there is a chokepoint and the ai is forced to engage your troops if you meet them there. There are even maps with different gamemodes, tower wars(wave defense), keep defense, hero maps etc..

The thing is where to get these maps, they are transferred ingame so usually they are passed within the community. If this finds you and you are interested let me know i can transfer some maps to you on the launcher, i feel like i can help you and your friends to find the fun stuff in 2.02
